A new study shows that men who took Norvasc 5mg daily for two years had a 40% higher risk of developing heart attacks and strokes than those who took a placebo.

A group of men with high blood pressure and high cholesterol levels showed that the drug reduced their risk of developing the side effects of angina and stroke. The researchers reported in theNew England Journal of Medicinethat while the men did not have a higher risk of heart attacks or strokes, they were more likely to develop the side effects of angina and stroke when they took Norvasc 5mg daily. They also noted that men taking the drug for two years did not have as much improvement in blood pressure control.

The study was done at a clinical research center, in New York, in a collaboration with the Cleveland Clinic and Harvard Medical School.

"The new data have important implications for cardiovascular health," says senior study investigator Dr. Thomas J. Rochon, M. D., a researcher with Cleveland Clinic's Center for Cardiovascular Research. "Norvasc 5mg and angina can both be used safely in patients with high blood pressure and high cholesterol. But there are still many questions and misconceptions about the role of Norvasc in cardiovascular health."

The researchers found that those who took Norvasc 5mg daily had an increased risk of having heart attacks and strokes compared with those who took a placebo. Norvasc 5mg had no effect on heart attacks, but increased the risk for strokes. Norvasc 5mg increased the risk by 40% while having no effect on heart attacks and strokes. The results were based on a large, multicenter, study that compared Norvasc 5mg and a placebo for six months in a high-risk population. This group was followed for six years. The researchers found that Norvasc 5mg had no effect on the cardiovascular system, but increased the cardiovascular risk by about 40%.

The researchers noted that in the men who took the drug, the men who took Norvasc 5mg had a lower risk of stroke than those who took a placebo. Norvasc 5mg also had no effect on the cardiovascular system, but increased the risk by about 40%. Norvasc 5mg increased the risk by about 40%.

The researchers also noted that the men who took Norvasc 5mg had a lower risk of cardiovascular disease compared with those who took a placebo. Norvasc 5mg had no effect on the cardiovascular system, but increased the cardiovascular risk by about 40%.

The study was sponsored by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute, an institution that is responsible for the National Institutes of Health. The study was conducted by researchers from the Cleveland Clinic, and was published inAnnals of Internal Medicine. Dr. Rochon was a leader in the field and was the senior study leader in this study.

Norvasc 5mg and angina were both used to treat high blood pressure and are known to be safe and well tolerated. Norvasc 5mg is a calcium channel blocker. In fact, it is also the first cardiovascular-related drug to be approved for use in the United States for treating angina. Norvasc 5mg is available in a tablet form.

Norvasc 5mg works by blocking calcium channels in the body. This allows the muscles to relax, which can help reduce the heart's workload. The effects of Norvasc 5mg have been shown in the heart to be strongest when combined with a beta blocker. Beta blockers like amlodipine (Norvasc) and atenolol (Tenormin) are often used to treat hypertension and angina.

Norvasc 5mg has also been shown to increase the heart's ability to pump blood and the heart's ability to make impulses. It can also lower blood pressure in the blood vessels that carry blood to the lungs. Because it relaxes the blood vessels, the blood pressure goes down, which reduces the workload on the heart and the swelling of the heart's tissues.

The research was funded by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute, a clinical research center.
